WHAT WE'VE ORGANISED.....
MARTIN STRINGER – VJ/ PROJECTION ARTIST /PHOTOGRAPHER
Working with our psychedelic space theme, Marty Stringer creates a live, cathartic visual experience using a mix of imagery, time-lapses, psychedelic moving shapes, film, and flying drone captured footage. Marty is a true proficient, having worked with various bands and at festivals around Melbourne. Be sure to wear all white as you will be part of the experience! With a multi-projection setup, images will be projected up onto the musicians and spectators.
THE SAFETY WORD – LIVE MUSIC
The Safety Word provide a unique musical experience. Their sound is a mixture of moody, glitch infused RnB; born in the break-beating heart of Melbourne. They combine down tempo electronica with a twist of trip-hop and broken beats. Thrown into the blender are soulful vocals, abstract guitar, warm electronic bass and ambient synth soundscapes.
This performance will see them play 3 x 25 minute sets which will build in pace and intensity as the night progresses. Starting slow as a relaxed, cathartic experience and will end in a sea of dance floor smiles.
DJ P.M. - BETWEEN SETS MUSIC
Between and after live music sets, DJ P.M. takes us on a journey through various styles of music from all around the world. Get ready to experience some new, exciting sound!
SUPER COOL VENUE!
We've hunted far and wide to find the perfect, all-white space for our surround visual projection event! L1 Studios is conveniently situated on Little Bourke Street, near the corner of Elizabeth St in the city.
